White Privilege

I’ve been told I have white privilege. Really? Show me. I was a single mother with two children. I decided to get a college degree and I took my kids to college with me. I was overlooked for scholarships because of Affirmative Action. I have also been overlooked for certain small business loans because my skin color isn’t right. Is that white privilege?

Is white privilege where blacks in Chicago kill other blacks? Please explain why I should pay for them killing each other. If they are serious about black lives, shouldn’t they all stop killing each other? What about all the new housing in the cities that was build for the blacks? They got new buildings to live in and they tore them up. Kind of like crapping in your own bed, if you ask me.

If black lives really matter, then they should build each other up instead of calling each other the “n” word. But this is all blamed on my white privilege.

I’ve never made more than $32,000 in a year even with a college degree. That is considered poverty level. So that is my white privilege.

I live by the statement that “he who will not work, shall not eat.” In other words, if you aren’t going to put out the effort to work, you starve. There is always a job to find or you can make a job for yourself. The effort you put out feeds you. If you won’t put out the effort, that ain’t my fault!

Don’t call me racist, I don’t give a damn what color your skin is, there is ONE RACE, the HUMAN RACE. If you live in an area that isn’t great, you have a couple choices, get away from there or make the best of the situation and make it better. Rise above don’t blame others for things you allow to happen. White privilege? Don’t throw that crap at me, we all come into this world naked and we all are going to die, sometime. It is what you do between those days that matters and if you blame others for your situation, then it is your fault. Take responsibility for your life and your success, don’t blame it on me, I am having a hard enough time keeping my own head above water. White privilege, what a joke.
