The Progressive movement has long sought to bring us all under control by insisting that we all think and believe the same way, believe the same theories and look to government to heal all our social ills. The problem with this flawed ideology is that the beauty of freedom means everyone can have ideas all their own and use their God-given gifts to their advantage, which in turn is an advantage to all.
For the Left to put us all under their control would mean that new ideas, art, music, science, skills and other needed tools for the human mind will be limited by government. The Left, which is now pushing more towards a communistic control of government and its people would in fact demand re-education of those who are free thinkers. In fact, AOC (Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez) has been suggesting that the Trump supporters go to re-education camps. This is an idea right out of the Communist Party and it is dangerous to say the least. Others on the Left are even suggesting compiling lists of voters who voted for Donald Trump so that employers don’t hire those voters. Sounds sort of closed-minded, doesn’t it?
The Left is known for alienating those who voted for Trump or who support Trump. Even in grade schools there are reports of students being targeted by teachers for having opposing views on political issues and even religious belief. The Left associates all Conservative views into one lump sum of people to hate or alienate. If you don’t think like them, they alienate you. If you have an individual thought, you are considered a radical.
The Left claims to be the champion of the minorities when in fact, they are discriminating against the majority for minority rule. Narrow-minded at best. Let’s say the Left takes over. They want one world government, equal pay so no one will get big money because there isn’t enough for everyone to be paid well and we all end up in low paying jobs and those in charge are still being paid a wealth living. Nothing equal about that. If we are all taught to think one way, how are innovations ever going to occur if was are taught one way and told to think only one way? In effect, the schools teach the children only what the leaders want them to know and nothing more, to control them. If anyone thinks outside the box and can’t be controlled, they are sent away.
Society without free thought and free-will becomes stagnated and eventually when a true problem arises and no one can figure out how to solve the problem, that is when civilization dies and the Law of Nature takes over (survival of the fittest). So much for progressivism.
