No Place for two National Anthems!

It seems like a lifetime ago that I used to get excited to watch the Super Bowl. They actually started having Super Bowls the year I was born. My family enjoyed watching the game of football and my one brother loved the Dallas Cowboys and I always was for the Denver Broncos or the Washington Redskins. What happened to turn me against any and all professional football? Well let me tell ya, it will take a while.

When political correctness wants to take away any name of a sports team’s Native American name or wants to discriminate against people who are white. Yeah. When I was a kid Civil Rights was working and we went from using Negro and the other ‘N’ word to calling people of color, Blacks. In fact up until about the time that Obama started running for President, there wasn’t any issues that I could see with the folks I conversed with who were black. They seemed pretty happy that they were making amazing gains, hell, we even had a brain surgeon who was from a single parent home who made the news. I was glad the blacks were making progress but it was to the detriment of a mixed blood part Native American, part Irish/Welsh German girl was looked over for a scholarship but hey, I could work my way through college, right?

Then as things changed more, the word progressivism push into football and football players w ho were once looked up to as American Heroes to some degree, began taking a knee when the true National Anthem played and people had kittens when players gave praise to God for winning games or accomplishing an amazing touch down. Oh and let’s not forget that so called Black National Anthem. With this, I saw Civil Rights go backwards and the blacks who had gained so much are making claims they haven’t gotten anywhere when a large number of football players and even basketball players on any professional team seems to be dark skinned. I am all for equality but it seems the progressives wants to push it clear to the opposite side of the spectrum.

My skin pigment isn’t dark, but is was somewhat darker than it is now, when I was much younger. I may appear white but my skin is not white, it is tan. I have only seen one or two truly white people in my lifetime an they were albino. When will people learn that ALL people have struggled to overcome great tribulations throughout history but if they had gotten hung up on it, they never would have gone on to succeed. Let’s not forget those who were given a free pass because of their color. If you can’t succeed for your mind, using your skin pigmentation is an excuse. Okay, you are probably calling me a racist now but here is the crux of the whole situation; there is only ONE RACE and that is the HUMAN RACE and we all have a different degree of skin pigmentation. We all have abilities and disabilities that distinguish us as individuals. Our once great nation has fallen to stupidity of progressivism which as taken us backwards not forward and a once fun sport to watch has turned millions of people and myself off.

As a Kansan, I could care less that Kansas City Chiefs are on their second trip to the Super Bowl in two years. If they play a black national anthem before or after the true National Anthem, then it is a sport that isn’t worth the hype. I get more excited about reading a classical book about Euclid and mathematics than a football game. Sorry folks. One Nation Under God, one National Anthem per country. The rest can kiss my backside.
