Every elected person, whether it be a mayor, county clerk, county commissioner, governor, legislator, Congressman/women all have one thing in common; they were hired by our votes. Now some of us will say we didn’t vote for a person in office, but that doesn’t matter, they are paid by taxpayer money, OUR MONEY! Since they are paid with OUR money, we are THEIR BOSSES! Everyone seems to forget that and that is on us if we do! The problem is, those who are elected often abuse that fact by ignoring our comments and ignoring our directives. They hope we will just shut up and be quiet. That is what career politicians are all about, holding the position, taking our money and doing their own thing because “no one is going to do anything about it.”
When our Founding Fathers gave birth to our county, their ambitions were to set up a country and let the PEOPLE choose their leaders. There was no thought about career politicians because everyone who served back then were asked to serve, then let someone take over so they could go back to their own lives. That is the problem in America, too many people make politics their life-long careers. Now that is okay if you are serving with a serving heart but if you get to the point of forgetting who put you in office, then that is where things go wrong.
What are WE THE PEOPLE supposed to do in this situation? Simple, find someone with a serving heart to replace those career politicians. I think that if we pay attention to what is going on in Washington DC we can see just why we need term limits and why it is important to have leaders who have experience in life rather than a political science degree.
Very few United States Presidents were actually business owners, like we see in Donald Trump. He uses his business experience to designate people for certain roles and expects them to do the job correctly, that is why you are seeing the situation concerning Iran run like a well oiled machine. Trump has told his people what he wants, they are on the same page and no one is backing down. Marco Rubio is performing as Secretary of State in a much better form that I ever expected but it because Trump has taught him much and Marco has ‘grown up’, so to speak into a fine speaker who has testicles, a far cry from what he was 8 years ago. Pete Hegseth is nailing it as Secretary of War by brining an amazing sense of pride back to the military after so many years of degrading the morale of troops by the Biden and Obama Administrations. Even Vice President, JD Vance nails it as Vice President, brining some youthfulness to the Administration. They don’t back down from the news media’s stupid ideological questioning. Even Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, hits back at the stupidity with such eloquent slap downs that watching her in press conferences is like a pay for view WWF prize fight, it is pure gold.
Each player in the current Administration has a servant’s heart and they are serving the people (at least the ones who are sane) and President Trump in a way an direction that focuses on THE PEOPLE. They are battling not only a terrorist regime that has terrorized the world for over 47 years, they are also fighting to stop the Deep State from their plans to turn our country, its people and resources over to a one world government. Service to the people is something the Democrat party has forgotten about. To the Democrats who claim to be for the people always push agendas that invariably aren’t for the people but actually gives the Democrat politicians more money in their pockets and less freedom to the People.
A heart to serve is what is needed i every elected position be it mayor, governor, county commissioner or legislator. That is what our Founding Fathers expected everyone to be and that is how it should be!
