FACEBOOK IS CENSORING THIS PAGE!

Well, I can no longer post the link to my blog because Facebook claims it is not according to their standards! All I am doing is sharing my post link and nothing else. Guess they don’t like my conservative views. MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT IS BEING DENIED!

All the other evil crap they allow on facebook and MY blog is censored! I have such a small following that I cannot believe that I am a threat to anyone. Oh well, time will tell. I wonder if I will be shut down by wordpress? If they do, I want my money back for what I paid for this page and I will get another server to support my page.

If you like what I write or agree with even some of what I write, then let me know. If you don’t like it, then let me know as well.

We Are Now a Socialist Country

I would like to congratulate everyone who whined about free health care for all as we now have free testing for corona virus aka Wuhan flu. Yes, we now have socialized medicine with the free testing and the Left will want more free health care stuff. No thank you! Oh, I also called the COVID-19 virus Corona and Wuhan. That is exactly what it is. We had the Russian flu in the late 70’s, the Swine flu (H1N1) a couple years ago and the Spanish flu was many years ago. The names were designated by where the flu started but OMG!!!!!! You are considered xenophobic and racist if you call it Corona or Wuhan virus. Screw that! I will call it what I want!

I am hoping that my logic is correct and I am immune to this virus as I have been exposed to strains of Corona virus through cattle (who are vaccinated against certain strains of this virus). Many years ago, it was discovered that milk maids who caught cowpox from the dairy cows was immune to chicken pox (cowpox was a lesser of the two viruses). I know I am salmonella and E. Coli resistant as I have been exposed to both many times over the years working in the livestock industry. So, time will tell if I am actually immune, since this virus is suppose to kill us all because it is so dangerous (right now Influenza has killed over 30,000 since October of 2019). Do I jest? Yes and no. I understand the gravity of the situation and I have a mother who is elderly and the virus seems to target elderly and immune compromised people, so I take steps to protect her but we will not alter our daily activities that much. I refuse to be held hostage by a bug and I refuse to believe half the crap the news media is spreading.

I believe that the news media is hyping this all up and are blaming President Trump for acting so slow on this situation. HELLO! Trump has been working on this situation since January 2020 but no one was paying attention as the Democrats were trying to impeach the man back then! Sorry Charlie, your too late once more. You cannot blame Trump especially since the Democrats are throwing a fit about him stopping the influx of people from other countries. Bernie Sanders wants the illegals to keep pouring over the border! President Trump is protecting us all, in spite of what the Democrats want to do. Suck it up suckers!

If you haven’t noticed, I am a little more sarcastic and blunt in this post. I have my reasons. First, as soon as President Trump was elected all the Leftists warned that he would tank the economy and the stock market. It was going to be a big tank job. Well, the stock market soared to record highs! That pissed off the Left. Now the news media and all the hype from the Left has investors nervous and there has been a big sell off( Remember the Democrats never want to waste a crisis without taking advantage of it). I wish I had ten thousand dollars to put into the market right now because when this virus plays out in May or June, the jump up will be amazing, then I could sell high. The Left is blaming Trump for the markets when they are excited that it is dumping. This is their hope so Trump won’t be elected. Sorry again Charlie, he will be.

The second reason I am so blunt is that yesterday, I had a nit wit by the name of Sarah Ginder from Sagamihara, Japan, a Kansas State University graduate, contact me via Messenger to reprimand me about my comments on Wuhan virus. I commented that I suspect that some Chinese students may have brought the virus with them to the USA when they came to college. She was worried I might offend them or come off xenophobic or racist. I replied I didn’t ask for her opinion and let her know I was not going to be lectured. So, I called her out on Facebook and now here. Stupid wench. I didn’t know her but she thought she could correct me (Leftist antifa tactics). Then she called me a Boomer which I corrected her and told her I wasn’t, then she called me an old lady, which she then blocked me before I could reply! How funny is that?!? WHAT A BIG PERSON! She stupidly poked a BULL and didn’t expect to get run over? What a ditsy person! Little does she know I refuse to be politically correct, I call it like it is and as I see it, so get over it! I’ve had enough of these snowflakes and this heat lamp is going to melt them all down. God help us all!

Bottom line. Don’t be stupid and panic. If you have family or friends who are immune compromised, avoid contact or be extra careful. I took Mom to Wichita for a doctor appointment, so when I got home, my good clothes and hers went into the washer, along with our jackets and I sprayed down her car with Lysol (look on the label, it kills coronavirus). We wash our hands before we touch our faces or food and we certainly cover our faces when we sneeze. We also avoid large groups of people because others aren’t as careful as we are. I am not afraid and panicked, I am astute and logical. I also make sure I get plenty of fresh air and vitamin C as well as rest.

In closing, I hope you all are well and enjoy your socialized medicine. I won’t be participating in any of it as I prefer my own way of doctoring, through natural means. This virus will ride itself out in late April, May and early June, as most winter viruses do. I don’t anticipate any problems with the economy after June. I will also be able to enjoy March without the March Madness of basketball. I can’t stand all the hype about that in the first place but we still have March Madness in the form of the virus. One thing I hope happens is that we bring all our drug manufacturing, meat processing and other manufacturing jobs back to the USA because relying on China has proven that it is dangerous to our National Security to outsource important items just because it is cheaper to manufacture elsewhere. Have fun people. I understand there is two to three weeks of quarantines for schools, universities and even that government buildings. Meanwhile, the Educated Cowpuncher is outside working with livestock, getting horse, goat, cow and other manure on my hands, feet and breathing its dust, breathing fresh air and getting dirty with everyday chores all which builds up my immune system.

Enjoy the Bern

The Democrat Party of Socialists in the United States aka, the party of Killers (abortion and after birth murder) has long brokered their Conventions and this year looks to be yet another one. Let’s look at the history and then look at the positioning that has taken place in the last week. When I first noticed this game was when Hillary Clinton was running against Barack Obama. Let’s go back in time…..

*POOF*

When Hillary and Barack were running against each other, the Democrat party leaders knew that it would be easier to get a black man elected than a woman, especially Hillary Clinton. Too many people remembered her from her husband’s terms in office and the DNC (Democrat National Committee) preferred to go on the black ticket this time because they knew they could get more black votes, so, a meeting with the two candidates was made and Hillary was promised she would be the next DNC nominee after Obama got two terms in office. In the meantime, the DNC brokered a deal that put Hillary in as Secretary of State because she was a Clinton and they still could get a lot of out of country money. Thus, Barack Obama was the DNC nominee.

While Obama worked hard to take over the USA with executive orders, Hillary was selling uranium to Russia and using an unsecure server to share the secrets with the Chinese and Russian. THIS is the real Russian collusion.

To ensure that the USA would have their first black president, the RNC (Republican National Committee) put John McCain in as nominee. He pretended to be a Republican but he was for a long time a RINO (Republican in Name Only) with his voting record on many things and his ultimate betrayal was his vote for Obamacare. We can only say that the Lord took the man before he could do more damage, God rest his soul.

Now we fast forward to the 2016 Presidential race, where Bernie ‘I’m not a Socialist/Communist’ Sanders was getting a lot of support. This is a man who up until this election wasn’t that wealthy. The DNC must have paid him off because he suddenly had a lot of wealth. Then the unthinkable happened, Hillary LOST TO DONALD TRUMP!

The PEOPLE fought back against the System and put a businessman in office over career politicians. The People showed how much they distrusted Hillary by giving The Donald a chance and he has turned Washington DC upside-down. The swamp is leaking and any attack on Trump is met with Trump’s hilarious Tweets and his fight back. The Democrats can’t win; they tried the Russia collusion trick and it failed, the impeachment was a disaster and instead of winning votes, the Democrats are further disenchanting their black voter base.

Now comes Bernie back to the race. He is picking up the Democrat’s dumbed down children of the Department of Education (thank you very much Jimmy Carter). The children of “everyone wins psychology” and “safe space, I need my Mommy!” syndrome are flocking to Bernie because the Democrats in their design wanted votes so they created their ‘needy’ class and that needy class now wants everything free, and are too stupid to realize that Socialism and Communism is nothing more than slavery of the populous. Oh no! The Democrats did too good a job dumbing them down and now they have created a monster! They have brainwashed kids that throw temper-tantrums if their candidate doesn’t get the nomination.

The DNC had alienated the Independent voters and now their youth vote is going way far Left and are out of control following Bernie to the Socialist utopia. The DNC doesn’t really want to go that far Left so they will have to put their antifa children in their place by stealing Bernie’s nomination away. Yep, another brokered Convention. It should be a good one, especially when all the children of the Bern go crazy when he isn’t the nominee.

Coronavirus

As with every winter, there comes viruses that plague the country and the world. Influenza has killed millions over the years and now the news media wants you to believe that this coronavirus is going to wipe out the country. It won’t and the news media is feeding the fears that there is a pandemic occurring and that President Trump isn’t doing anything about this impending disaster. There are simple ways to protect yourself and it is mainly common sense that will keep you well.

The news media, in its frenzy to make Trump look bad, will do anything it can, including scaring people into believing the world will end. Well, the scaremongering worked on the stock market, dropping it in record moves. Oh, so now Trump has a nosediving economy. WRONG. This is just market manipulation, pure and simple. The economy will correct itself.

The news media has also made accusations that Trump is doing nothing about the coronavirus entering the country, yet before things got moving very far, the President already had a task force working on the situation and he was and still is getting information as the situation changes. Even that Democrat/Socialist sweetheart, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went so far to criticize the President for asking Vice President Mike Pence to be the head of the task force on the corona virus, saying he didn’t believe in science. She was eluding to a misquoted statement by Pence that the news media tried to make fact out of a twisted statement. Why can’t the news media get it through their pea-brains that Trump is the most effective President in history. He uses his business savvy to manage these scares in a way that calms the public. Hey, he knows the situation is difficult but puts in place people who know how to put together a plan to deal with what is set before them.

Coronavirus has been around for quite some time. They even have a vaccine for cattle that is specifically for coronavirus and if you look on a can of Lysol spray, coronavirus is listed on the types of viruses that Lysol kills. BUT whilst there is a cattle vaccine and Lysol, they may not actually kill this exact strain of the virus. So basic common sense rules need to be in play. Travel from the places where the virus is hitting hard should be stopped. OOPS, China is where it originated and they aren’t telling the true numbers on who has it and how many have died or are dying. We also need to close the border as Chinese can slip into our country from Mexico and infect us. I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t a planned biological attack by someone. Still, the Democrat/socialist want to keep the border open? HMM proof they don’t care about the American people.

The best way to prevent yourself fro catching the virus is the same as any other virus that runs through the public; wash your hands regularly, cover your mouth with something when you cough (cough into your shirt is best), take in some good vitamin C (eat a lot of oranges and grapefruit), get plenty of rest, avoid large groups or areas where there are sick people, get plenty of fresh air and get fresh air into your homes by opening windows for a few minutes each day. Avoid going to work if you aren’t feeling well so you don’t make any one else sick and certainly avoid travelling in airplanes, buses and ships.

I haven’t had the flu in over twenty years. I spend a lot of my time outside in fresh air and that helps a lot. I’m avoiding going where there may be people who have traveled to China and come back and my orange a day has gone up to two oranges a day or an orange and a grapefruit. I also have my Elderberry wine as a backup too. Bottoms up!

Just Some Thoughts

The mind tends to wander when much is on your mind and so my mind is wandering as I try to write. I wanted to write more about the raw milk legislation in Topeka but Presidential Candidate Bloomberg’s comments that anyone could put a seed in the ground and make it grow set my teeth on edge and then there was that educated idiot with a PhD in Philosophy who showed how idiotic he was. Yeah, that was Jackson Kernion, PhD. who teaches at UC Berkley, that said, “I unironically embrace the bashing of rural Americans, they, as a group, are bad people who have made bad life decisions. Some, I assume, are good people. But this nostaglia for some imagined pastoral way of life is stupid and we should shame people who aren’t pro-city.” Is it just me or are these two men totally ignorant?

How ignorant and arrogant they are, looking down upon the agricultural and rural community, as if they know more than we! They wouldn’t know the difference between a corn or wheat plant as it breaks through the soil. They certainly have no clue how wonderful our life is out in the country as they would be frightened by the wide open spaces, the distance between towns and what would they do if they heard a coyote or an owl? God forbid if they were to step in cow poop! But that is okay, they can keep thinking the way they do and they can miss out on what is best and beautiful with rural living.

They can miss out on the beauty of the sunrises and sunsets, seen without the haze of pollution. They can miss the quiet of the morning as nature and the farm animals wake up from their sleep to start another day. The song birds and the smells of the morning dew kiss the morning air. In the distance a tractor starts and the farmer is off to feed the cattle or work a field as the hired hands move cattle from one pasture to another. There is no time clock in agriculture, just seasons to get work done. Some days are 18-23 hours long and others are cut short due to rain or snow. We are flexible like that in rural America, it is a different beat of the drum than what the east and west coast are accustom to and we like it that way.

The vastness of the Tallgrass Prairie and the Montana skies will scare a city slicker when they are by themselves. They can’t handle that vastness, it is too open for their liking and like the Pioneer women who traveled west and lost their minds when the Kansas wind blew for days on end, these city slickers aren’t tough enough to endure it. I have often said that a country kid could go to the city and survive but a city slicker coming to the country wouldn’t be able to tough it out. We know how to survive and we are proud that we have those skills.

Rural America is more than a lifestyle, it is family. When someone falls ill, gets hurt or dies right before planting time or harvest, we all come together as one to take care of the needs of the one, knowing that one day, if we are in need, our brothers and sisters in Rural America will come to help us, no strings attached. It is community at its best and while it is shocking to some, it is almost an unwritten law of the land, we do what needs to be done.

Rural America feeds the country and the world with our ever increasing scientific improvements and productivity to produce meat and grains that fill the bellies of those arrogant candidates and Philosophy PhD’s. We in rural America and in Agriculture have found better ways to make the land more productive whilst protecting it from erosion, no-till and rotational grazing have reduced carbon emissions while cities still spew the carbon. Just one city in one day can send enough carbon in the air that it would take a 100, 000 head feed lot months to equal. And we are ignorant and make bad choices?

The biggest secret in rural America is the freedom we have that city slickers don’t have. We aren’t restricted by the pavement and traffic lights or buildings that hide the sky from us, we can step out and feel the cool of the grass as we walk barefoot in the yard or as we soak our feet in the cool of a stream or pond. We can enjoy our slower pace of life and see the little things that matter. Simple isn’t stupid, it is without strings attached. We are able to enjoy a life without fear of drive-by shootings or muggings. We gather together for sheep and calf fries and beer or a picnic in the park with the community churches while we listen to the Fort Riley Army Band. Rural America is a Norman Rockwell painting that has come to life.

We in rural America laugh easily. We can laugh when the calf we worked hard to pull and thought was dead, gasps for air and struggles to its feet. We know the joy of watching a foal trying out his legs for his first run and we smile with pride as we watch those first year 4-H kids lead their bucket calf into the show ring for the first time.

Much of what the city slickers know about Rural America and Agriculture is from watching television re-runs of Green Acres. We are manufacturers of tools and equipment to make our work easier. We think of better ways to do things with bale wire and duct tape if we have to. We can take an old pickup and string barbed wire up and down steep hills and then go skinny dipping in the pond after hauling hay all day.

If city slickers really understood the philosophy of rural living, they would all want to be like us. Thank God they can’t get their pea-brains to understand the secrets of rural life.

Why?

When my son was a little boy of about three years of age, he would ask “WHY?” I usually gave him a simple answer, then he would ask the same question, and I would again give him another answer. Many times, his curiosity was just sparked and other times he knew his questions were starting to get to him and I would finish our conversation with; “Because I’m the Mommy!” He knew not to ask “Why” again. That usually ended the conversation. To this day, he will occasionally pull his “WHY?” on me and then grin. He learned how to push my buttons with that game and he likes to play that game just to stir me up. So today, I am going to play the game. Let’s ask, “Why?’

Why, is it okay for people to demean Christians with terrible accusations but no one dare bad-mouth a Muslim?

Why, is it okay for the Left to smear the Right but anytime the Right accuses the Left of something, the person asking is a racist, homophobic, or anti-Semantic?

Why, can a Muslim in Congress make blatant anti-Semantic slurs against Israel or a Jew ad get away with it, and the news media try to sweep it under the rug?

Why, can a Secretary of State sell uranium to Russian and no one raises and eyebrow? Why, can that same Secretary of State delete 35,000 emails and no one charge her with a crime? Why, can that Secretary of State use an un-secured computer server to do government business on?

Why, can a Vice President get threaten the Ukraine President with no aide if they don’t fire their highest law enforcement officer for investigating Bursima? Why can that same VP’s son get a job with Bursima and it not be a conflict of interest?

Why can people like Michael Moore, Maxine Waters, Kathy Griffin and others of their ilk make threatening comments about the President and towards the President and not be arrested and put in jail? Why can people of this ilk suggest killing or doing harm to the President and not be sent to prison for even suggesting these acts of violence?

Why can the Leftists run their cars into tents where people are registering new Republicans to vote and the whole incident get mentioned once on the news and then nothing else is heard about it?

Why, does the manure hit the fan if even one person on the Right calls out the Left on these infractions?

Why?

Michael Bloomberg’s Words Will Result in a Major Take Down By Those Who FEED His Arrogant Mouth and Build His Planes

Sorry for such a long title. I just read an article written by Fox New reporter, Tyler Olson that was published today (Februaru 17, 2020). In the article, Michael Bloomberg was quoted as saying: “The agrarian society lasted 3,000 years and we could teach processes. I could teach anybody, even people in this room, no offense intended, to be a farmer.” He continued, “It’s a process. You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn. You could learn that. Then w had 300 ears of the industrial society. You put the piece of metal o the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow and you can have a job. And we created a lot of jobs. At one point, 98 percent of the world worked in agriculture, not it’s 2 percent in the United States.”

Oh boy! I could go in a million different directions and write a book in response to this man’s arrogance and ignorance about agriculture. For instance, the farmer no longer has to dig a hole to plant corn, the lathe operators, welders and engineers have developed things called tractors & planters that are more high tech than cars and a lot of the GPS information that the farmer has to interpret on his farm fields requires more than just being told how to do things. We even use drones & soil chemical reports to help determine where our fertilizers need to be put to maximize our fertilizer capabilities and maximize our investments. Farmers must also know how to market crops, understand how to hedge and how to sell short, we are investors, inventors, we understand how to manipulate genetics and breeding cycles. We spend more time in fields and pastures than we do inside.

Farmers and Ranchers have developed technology and utilize science to produce the safest and healthiest food in the world! We are conservationists because if the land isn’t sound, we can’t produce good food. We set up areas for wildlife to thrive, we are great stewards of the land and city politicians have NO CLUE. Most people think their food comes from the grocery store and can’t understand why we think differently than the east or west coast. We WORK for a living and the gas we pass after eating beans has more muscle than their whole body will ever have. We have calloused hands, feet, sore backs and many of us walk with a limp or are missing a finger, toe or hand. We are lucky to see our families during harvest, kidding, calving or lambing. We pull 18-23 hour days, milking cows twice a day, riding pens and pastures in blizzards to make sure our animals are safe, forgetting about our own safety. We are caregivers of livestock, birthing coaches to cows, sheep, pigs and goats, we are tough and well leathered from the sun. We are the Farmers and Ranchers of America, Proud and Strong but much unappreciated.

Many of us work two or three jobs just to keep farming and ranching. We are perpetual optimists who struggle on when prices don’t cover input costs and ride short waves of prosperity between droughts, floods, fires and other natural disasters. Yet we feed over 150 people plus ourselves. We are so good at producing that sometimes we produce so much that we produce ourselves in to low prices. WE are too efficient yet the world would be in a pickle if the American farmers stopped producing and selling our products.

We believe in working hard for what we earn and we don’t believe in welfare. Some may say farm subsidies are welfare but there is no other industry in the USA that has to deal with Mother Nature like we do. We are at her mercy and she is a violent lady, sending floods down the Missouri that still haven’t gone down from the Spring of 2019 and she may hit us again in the Spring of 2020 thaw. She throws hail the size of dimes to grapefruit that strip our crops right before harvest and she bakes the land in droughts that turn the green to dust. Yet rich career politicians think we are ignorant people. He doesn’t have the testicles God gave a frog to come to Middle America to meet the people who proudly produce his meals. His insults to the factory workers is just as offensive because there will come times when technology will fail and the human who has the skills will fix the problem. Just look no further than NASA and John Glenn’s first flight in space. It took a human calculator to do the math. So too, it will take farmers and ranchers who pass down those things that can’t be taught in colleges, to make things right. We are America’s Farmers and Ranchers, WE ARE AGRICULTURALISTS!

Kansas Senate Bills 300 & 308

I attended the hearings at the Kansas State capital yesterday (12th) and today (13th of February). The hearing yesterday was quite surprising as the proponents of the sale of raw milk on the farm ban, had little data and that data was 2007 and older. Most of what we heard from that side was rhetoric that attempted to make raw milk look like it was more dangerous than smoking cigarettes. Even the Kansas Department of AG employee that was there to give expert testimony could not come up with up-to-date data. The opponents however, were loaded to the gills with data. I also believe we gave strong and compelling testimony and after speaking with the Chairman, he is of the opinion, I believe that the ban proposal will die in committee. The labeling of raw milk is where we have to get serious.

I returned to today’s hearing with data on illnesses, hospitalizations and deaths due to consumption of milk (both pasteurized and raw). Data in the report from the CDC shows that while Raw milk consumption had higher hospitalizations, it was Processed milk that had more deaths. This blows the argument that raw milk is more dangerous to consume. But the SB 308 isn’t about the data, it is about labeling of raw milk. The statement that has been proposed to put on labels is as follows: THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS UNGRADED RAW MILK THAT IS NOT PASTEURIZED AND, AS A RESULT, MAY CONTAIN ORGANISMS THAT CAUSE FOOD-BORNE ILLNESS, ESPECIALLY IN INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN, OLDER ADULTS, PREGNANT WOMEN AND PEOPLE WITH WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEMS.

As you can see that is a much longer warning for raw milk than what you would find on a package of cigarettes which are a KNOWN illness causing product. I argued that the wording of this label has some issues; “UNGRADED” is the first issue. If a dairy is in compliance with the Grade “A” Pasteurized Milk Ordinance, then it qualifies as grade “A” milk as milk is not graded at the processing plant. I also argued that the requirements for the label be of the same sized font as the LARGEST font on the container. Being the smart arse that I am, I printed off the warning the same size as a large Highland dairy cottage cheese container and taped it to the container(Photo at the top of this blog). There was no room for nutritional information, serving size and name of farm. I also argued that the label was too wordy.

I spoke with several Senators after the hearing and got very positive responses and was thanked for going the extra mile with the data and research I provided. So, this ain’t over yet but we may be able to help re-write the label and help with setting up an inspection process as well.

Lessons learned in this whole process: 1.Our Kansas Senators and Representatives WANT our input. We need to call and if possible, visit with them face-to face. They are very approachable and eager to listen (the ones I spoke with). 2. We all need to be involved in what concerns us. 3. Use your passion to put your point across and use humor and visual aids (I used Moo-Moo and Gabby stuffed animals of a cow and goat that I set on the podium while I spoke. That brought giggles and smiles.). 4. Have data to back up your argument. 5. When in hearings, first thank the Chairman and those on the committee before you give your statement. 6. Speak up and into microphone and don’t be nervous. 7. Keep your statement short and your written testimony can be much longer. 8. Be open minded and keep your manners.

I had a great time doing this and am eager to help the Ag & Natural Resources committee find a good solution that is agreeable to all involved. Government does work but WE the PEOPLE MUST be involved in the process.

Update

Just to update my readers on what is going on and why I haven’t posted for a few days.

I have been working on gathering information for my testimony on Kansas Senate Bill 300 & SB 308. I will be testifying in Topeka, Kansas on Wednesday February 12th and Thursday February 13th. There are a large number of people signed up to speak about SB 300, the ban of on-farm sales of raw milk and raw milk products, so I might not get time to testify but my written testimony will be printed for the Senators to read. I will plan on speaking on Thursday about SB 308 which will require the labeling of containers with raw milk.

SB 308 seeks to force the labeling of raw milk and raw milk products with the following warning: “This product contains ungraded raw milk that is not pasteurized and, as a result, may contain organisms that cause food-borne illness, especially in infants, young children, older adults, pregnant women an people with weak immune systems.” This warning must not be smaller than the largest fonts used elsewhere on the label. To tell you the truth, I find that much wording on a label, will take away from anything else being on the label, such as the name of the dairy (which in most advertising is the largest part of an advertisement.). So how would you like a product you make be over shadowed by a warning? Not good for advertising, in my opinion.

There is some issues with the label warning and it is the word ‘ungraded’. The Grade “A” Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) states that as long as a farm is producing milk according to the level of Grade A requirements, then that milk is Grade A. So in other words, the guidelines in the PMO states what the farm has to do, to maintain a Grade A level and as long as those standards are met, the milk is Grade A. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food & Drug Administration sets these inspection standards for all dairies, so as long as the standards are met, the milk will be considered Grade A. The wording in the warning states “ungraded raw milk”. So there need to be some discussion about the wording.

The real issue is Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) the milk cooperative that most dairy producers in Kansas sell their milk to, unless they process all their own milk. DFA has in the past, had a history of bullying the small producer into selling to them or not being able to sell at all, or, they go into another cooperatives area, convince their members to sell to DFA for a higher price, then once the cooperative is bankrupt, they buy it or let it die, then all the farmers are forced to sell to DFA. Once they get all the farms selling milk to them, they drop the prices and either the small producer sells out because they can’t get a good price to cover their expenses or they start selling raw milk off the farm. Then DFA goes to the State and pushes legislation to stop raw milk sales. DFA has a monopoly in Kansas, they want all the produced milk or the ones who aren’t selling to them to stop selling raw milk to the public. Monopolistic behavior I believe.

So the long and short of all this is, SB 300 & SB 308 are ANTI-small farm. Only the larger farms and corporations will survive because they work on the economic premise of economy of scale, meaning the larger they are, the better their bottom line will be working with DFA. The small farms cannot compete as their bottom line and margins are so much smaller and can’t break even.

Here is an example: Small dairy farmer A is getting $21/100 pounds of milk from DFA. Farmer A needs $19/100 pounds to break even. A farmer can’t keep producing at these kind of margins forever and if feed prices go up, their margin is smaller. But a large corporation can buy in larger bulk and feed prices when you buy in larger bulk quantities, you can get better deals (lower prices). Economy of scale makes your break evens better.

Let’s say Farmer A decides to make a few extra bucks selling raw milk on the side and also some raw milk products like yogurt, cheese and butter. It still costs $19 to produce but their income from the raw milk sales could be much higher. If they make yogurt and for 5 gallons of milk they use to make the product, they get $40. So let’s do some algebra.

5 gallons weighs about 41.75 pounds. 100 pounds divided by 8.35(about what a gallon weighs) = 11.97 $40 sales from 5 gallons of milk ($40/5 = X/11.97(gallons in 100 pounds of milk) Cross multiply $40 X 11.97 = 478.80 and divide by 5 = $95/100 pounds of milk.

DFA pays the farmer $21/100 pounds and if the farmer uses that milk to produce a raw milk yogurt for on farm sales, they can get $95/100. Do you see why DFA doesn’t want the farmer to sell raw milk? Yeah, me too. They make a hell of a lot more selling raw milk products than selling to DFA. But really, Farmer A won’t have near as many customers to compete with DFA’s processed milk retailers. Yet DFA doesn’t want the small farmer doing this. Why? They want the monopoly, thus the Senate Bill 300 to ban on farm sales of raw milk. Does it piss you off like it pisses me off? No corporation should dictate legislation to kill competition. No legislation should be anti-small farm either. Now you know why I am going to Topeka this week.

Nothing But Contempt For The American Citizenry

Everyone is buzzing about Nancy “that San Francisco Treat” Pelosi and what she did with the copy of President Trump’s State of the Union Address. I am beyond fuming about the stunt myself as she showed more than contempt for the President, she was shoving it in the face of the Americans that President Trump honored during his speech! She also showed that no American Citizen is worthy of recognition, we are all slaves to her ilk and agenda. Enough is enough, she needs to be removed from office IMMEDIATELY!

It is my understanding that she also committed a crime by tearing that speech up. 18U.S.C S 2071. Section 2071 says whoever willfully destroys government documents can face three years in prison and or a $2000 fine. We all saw her fumbling with the speech as the President spoke. Even some photos show that she had planned on doing this act prior to the end of the speech as tiny tears can be seen in the photos. This is a premeditated act of criminal behavior by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. This act is enough to call for her immediate REMOVAL from her position and from serving in the House of Representatives ever again. Call your Representatives and Senators to demand her removal. I know I did just that today.

The US Senate and House Switchboard number is 202-224-3121 and you tell them your State and which of the two Senators or Representative you wish to speak to or they can give you the number directly, the numbers all start with a 224 or 225 prefix. You can also go to a web page called United States Senate and you can look up your Senator’s phone number that way. This is probably the easiest way to find the right phone number and set it on speed dial on your phone, I do.

The President was acquitted by the Senate, so we are going to seem any type of attack that the Democrat/Socialist/communist party can come up with now. They’ve already spent the last four months on Impeachment and they have no intentions of doing anything to help the American Citizenry until they get rid of President Trump. The problem is, President Trump is the only thing holding the Democrat/Socialist/Communists back from going after We The People. Trump is protecting us and he is the only person capable of handling this kind of attack but he IS doing this for US, the People of the United States of America.
